If you have a wedding at your place you will definitely come across these complaints by your relatives. They get extra sensitive about everything that you do that at times being up to their mark gets so hard. These are some of the things you can avoid in order to remain in their good books:
“PHONE PE KON BULATA HAI!?” –
This is most likely to offend your relatives when you don’t send them card and just invite them on phone. Even if you didn’t print the cards or live in a different city; they would still want that piece of paper in their hand.
“SHADI VACATIONS MEIN HONI CHAHIYE” –
If most of your relatives are living abroad then even if you want your wedding in winters, you’ll have to keep it in summers because its their kid’s summer vacations and this the only time they can come. And if you don’t do that, be ready to bear their rants that will probably go on forever!
“CARD KISSI AUR KE HATH KYOON BHEJA?” –
Even if you are too busy with the wedding preparations some of your relatives just want to get the card by your hand; not by your driver or any other member of the family! And if you don’t they might not even attend the wedding because apparently you “hurt” their ego.
“HUM SE TOU YEH PUCHA HI NAHI!” –
It is impossible that you entertain all of your relatives in such busy condition. But they would feel offended if you don’t ask them ” aap ko kuch chahiye tou nahi?” or “aap ne khana achay se khaya?.” And most likely will taunt you on that for the rest of your life.
“YEH KESI JEWELRY PEHNI HAI DULHAN NE” –
Even though it doesn’t relate them directly, they will still complain and question about how much have you spent on the bride. Doesn’t matter if you are dulha walay or dulhan walay, they’ll always have a problem with how less you have spent.
“MUN DAIKHAYI MEIN YEH KON DETA HAI?” –
Always judging! Even if you are fine with what your son or daughter got at the mun daikhayi from their in-laws, your relatives will have an issue that the things weren’t expensive or good enough.
