The area comprising Ayub National Park was previously known as ‘Topi Rakh’. In Urdu language, the words ‘Toop’ represent the English word ‘Gun’ and ‘Rakh’ means ‘Reserve Forest’. ‘Topi’ was a small village in a ‘Rakh’ in the present location of Gulistan Colony. In 2007, a multi-purpose auditorium constructed in Ayub National Park, was appropriately named ‘Topi Rakh Auditorium’ thus preserving the heritage of the area. Wedding Functions, Mehndi, Barat, Valima and Reception can be held at Topi Rakh.
